Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Your privacy matters. This notice explains the information involved when you browse OvercomingLoneliness.org, contact us by email or follow a Stripe purchase link.
1. Who is responsible
OvercomingLoneliness.org is operated by Patria Laureada Lda, an EU-based business with its business address at Av. Julio Carvalho e Cost, 33, 2750-Cascais, Portugal. For privacy questions or requests, email direct@aicustomerproducts.com.
This notice covers this website and information you choose to send to its contact address. Separate services, including Stripe checkout, have their own privacy notices.
2. Information involved when you visit
Your browser sends technical information to the server when requesting pages and assets. This can include your IP address, requested page, date and time, browser information and, depending on browser settings, the referring page. Hosting and security services may record some of this information in access or security logs. The exact logging settings and retention periods depend on the hosting configuration.
The live homepage loads website-hosted images, fonts, scripts and video files. Playing a video requests media from the website server. It includes a free-guide request form and links to Stripe checkout. Hosting-level services may also process technical information.
3. When you contact us or request a guide
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, any attachments and any name or other information you include. This information is used to handle your enquiry and related follow-up. Your email provider and the receiving email service also process the message.
When you request the free Q&A Guide, the form collects your first name, email address and selected country. The service stores these with a request identifier, status and timestamps, plus keyed hashes of the email address and IP address for duplicate and abuse checks. The reviewed code deletes guide request records older than 14 days when its cleanup runs during request processing; this is not a guaranteed deletion at exactly 14 days. Email copies, backups and hosting logs have separate retention settings. The form includes a hidden anti-spam field and a security token. Hostinger Mail processes the guide delivery email.
Guide delivery is used to fulfil your request; request validation and abuse prevention serve the legitimate interest of maintaining a reliable service. The country field is collected by the current form; contact us for questions about its use. Requesting the guide is not a marketing subscription.
Please share only information needed for your enquiry. This wellbeing website does not provide a secure clinical intake service; avoid sending medical records or sensitive personal details by email.
4. Stripe checkout and purchase information
The homepage purchase buttons link to Stripe-hosted checkout. Following a purchase link takes you to Stripe, where the information requested depends on the checkout settings and payment method. This may include contact details, billing information, payment details and technical or fraud-prevention information.
This homepage does not contain a card-entry form. Stripe processes payment information on its own service and may make customer and transaction information available to the merchant, such as contact details, items ordered, payment status and refund information, depending on the checkout configuration. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its processing, retention and international-transfer information.
5. Purposes and legal grounds
Where the GDPR applies, the appropriate legal ground depends on the processing:
- Responding to a request about a potential or existing purchase: steps requested before a contract or performance of a contract.
- Handling general correspondence and protecting website availability and security: legitimate interests in answering enquiries and operating a secure service, subject to your rights and interests.
- Keeping records required by applicable tax, accounting or other laws: compliance with a legal obligation.
If a future optional activity requires consent, its purpose and choices must be explained when consent is requested. Visiting this page alone is not consent to optional tracking or marketing.
6. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be processed by the services involved in the activity you choose: website hosting and security services for page requests, email services for correspondence, and Stripe and relevant payment providers for checkout. The information involved depends on the service and its configuration.
Disclosures may also be necessary to comply with applicable law or handle a legal claim. The free-guide form states that requesting the guide does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Its reviewed server code sends the requested email through Hostinger Mail. This notice does not assume additional marketing or data-sharing practices that have not been verified.
7. Cookies and browser storage
Opening the free-guide request form starts a security session using the cookie sp_free_guide. The server configures it as a session cookie restricted to the guide service, with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict attributes, to validate requests and protect against misuse. The homepage also contains language-preference code that can save page and email language choices in localStorage under preai.pageLanguage.v1 and preai.emailLanguage.v1 if that feature is used. These settings persist until cleared or changed. Hosting services and Stripe may use additional technologies; Stripe describes its own processing in its notices.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Any optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking introduced on this website must be described and, where required, kept disabled until you give consent.
8. Retention, security and international processing
Retention depends on the purpose: the time needed to resolve correspondence and related follow-up, any applicable recordkeeping duties for transactions, and the operational security needs and configured deletion periods for hosting logs. For guide request records, the cleanup rule is described above. Other exact retention periods and provider settings require confirmation by the operator.
Hosting, email and payment providers may process information in countries outside your own. The countries and any applicable safeguards depend on the provider and contract. For Stripe, consult its linked privacy notice. Contact us for details relevant to your information; no claim is made here that all processing stays within the EU or EEA.
No method of internet transmission or storage provides an absolute security guarantee. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in correspondence.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict processing, receive portable data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to direct@aicustomerproducts.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Under the GDPR, requests are generally answered within one month, with extensions available in specified circumstances. Rights can be subject to legal limits, including required recordkeeping.
You may complain to the relevant data protection authority, including the authority in the EU/EEA country where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
10. Information you choose to provide
Simply browsing this homepage does not require completing a form. The optional free-guide form requires a first name, email address and country to request delivery; if you do not provide them, the form cannot process the request. Providing an email address and sufficient enquiry details is necessary if you want an email reply. Checkout may require information to process the chosen transaction; Stripe identifies the fields requested. The guide service uses automated validation and request limits to reduce abuse. These checks may prevent a request from being processed; contact support if you need help. No decision with legal or similarly significant effects has been established from the reviewed homepage and guide service. Payment-provider fraud checks are governed by the provider’s own disclosures.
11. Updates and contact
This notice may be updated when the website or its information practices change. The date above identifies this version. For questions about this notice or how your information is handled, contact direct@aicustomerproducts.com.
Google Analytics and your choice
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand visits and improve this website. With consent, successful free-guide requests are recorded as a guide-request event without form values. On the Stripe return page, a purchase event is sent only after the server verifies a live paid order. It includes a one-way transaction reference, currency, purchase value, tax and a generic product identifier, without your name, email address, card details or personal access link. Purchase measurement requires visiting the return page with consent; some completed orders may therefore be absent from Analytics. We store up to 100 one-way transaction references and timestamps in localStorage under ol.purchaseEvents.v1 for up to 180 days to reduce duplicate events. Google receives technical information such as your IP address when its service is contacted and processes visit, device, browser and approximate-location information. Our tag sends the page path without its query string or fragment and the referring origin. We do not send guide form values, email addresses, personal collection links or payment details through this tag.
Google Analytics is blocked until you select “Accept analytics”. Selecting “Reject analytics” leaves it blocked. You can change or withdraw your choice using “Analytics preferences” on pages carrying our analytics controls. Your choice is saved in localStorage under ol.analyticsConsent.v2 for up to 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice may not persist.
After acceptance, Analytics can use _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits and maintain session state. We configure their expiry to 180 days; use may refresh their expiry. Withdrawing consent disables further collection by this tag and attempts to remove these cookies. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in this implementation.
The legal basis for optional Analytics is consent. Google may process information outside the EEA under its applicable contractual safeguards. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Data Processing Terms. Google Analytics account retention settings govern event-level data separately from browser cookies; contact us for the current configuration.
